All proceeds from the 50/50 ticket sales and this year's online auction (https://new.biddingowl.com/AMFRSAUCTION/) will be used to support the AMFRS’s Wildfire Prevention and Protection Program, which focuses on structure protection (i.e. homes and out-buildings, etc.). We will be working on improving our mobile rapid response capabilities to any wildfires that are threatening homes in and around our community, and in adjacent communities that ask for fire fighting support from the Anarchist Mountain Fire Department (AMFD). The AMFRS will be purchasing pumps, bladders, sprinklers and wildfire hose, for use by the AMFD, that can quickly be set up to protect properties when a wildfire is approaching.

The 14th AMFRS Online Auction Starts July 17, 2025 – Mark Your Calendars!!

It’s that time of year again - the 14th annual Anarchist Mountain Fire Rescue Society (AMFRS) online auction starts July 17 at 11 am and runs through July 20 at 4 pm. Thanks to the generosity of many local businesses and individuals, we have over 120 items to bid on, so there is literally something for everyone!!

The AMFRS is a non-profit, charitable organization that supports fire and life safety programs within the Anarchist Mountain community. This includes wildfire prevention, emergency preparedness, wildlife safety, and the specialized technical/medical rescue services of the Anarchist Mountain Fire Department (AMFD).

Many community volunteer hours have already gone into this year’s auction to make it the best one yet!

All funds raised this year will be used to support the AMFRS’s Wildfire Prevention and Protection Program, which focuses on structure protection (i.e. homes and out-buildings, etc.). Last year, the online auction brought in more than $13,500! The funds raised in 2024 allowed the AMFRS to purchase new battery-powered auto extrication equipment for the AMFD, specifically the ‘jaws-of-life’ and spreaders. A
