2026 PROJECT
Wildfire is the number one threat on Anarchist Mountain and, with no hydrants available, the Anarchist Mountain Fire Department (AMFD) relies entirely on natural water sources such as local ponds.
Funds raised in the 2026 Online Auction will purchase a Tohatsu portable high-performance water pump designed for rugged wildfire conditions.
This pump will allow our firefighters to access remote water sources, quickly fill water tenders, and set up temporary water supply systems wherever they’re needed. It also helps get fire hoses closer to homes and forested areas at risk.
AMFD primarily serves the Anarchist Mountain area, but they also provide firefighting support to other local and B.C. interior Fire Departments when support is requested, and for motor vehicle incidents and medical emergencies. Your support will directly strengthen our community’s wildfire defence.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
Donate an item to the online auction by providing goods or services to be sold to the highest bidder. (Donation must be confirmed by May 5, 2026 in order to be added to the extensive catalogue.)
